Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This role involves handling administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment, maintaining employee records, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and passionate about helping people.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR operations and provide administrative support to the HR department.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital.
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails and other correspondence
• Schedule meetings and appointments and maintain calendars
• Prepare reports, memos, letters, invoices, and other documents
• Assist with the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Help coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Assist with onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.
• Support HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and performance reviews.
• Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policy updates.
• Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
• Maintain HR databases and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration, as needed

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR-related role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary Description

$20-25 per hour
