Johnson's Wrecker Service, Inc. is Orlando's Oldest & Largest Towing Service! We are family owned and operated and have been in business for over 50 years. Our operations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year. We are currently seeking qualified Dispatchers. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS, INCLUDING AN OVERNIGHT WEEKEND SHIFT.

Dispatchers are the main point of contact between the driver and the customer. Primary responsibilities include - rapid response to municipal and law enforcement agencies to clear the roadway, coordinate pickup / delivery with the customer, and maintain excellent communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Obtain detailed information from customers regarding pickup / delivery location (including all special instructions)
• Maintain accurate documentation on log sheets
• Dispatch trucks for vehicle pickup and delivery within company timelines
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a professional manner
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude in all situations

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of dispatching experience (preferred)
• Excellent multi-tasking ability in a fast paced environment
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English
• Ability to navigate the internet and read GPS maps for logistical instructions
• Resolve conflict with reasonable solutions
• Must be able to pass an FDLE background check
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-verify)
